A smoothie is a quick and easy way to pack a lot of nutrients into a single-serving drink. Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder and turn a smoothie into a complete breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 pear or apple, quartered (not peeled)
  • 1/2 cup mango or pineapple (frozen)
  • 1 cup spinach (loose)
  • 1/2 inch piece ginger (fresh, peeled)
  • 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed (preferably ground)
  • 1 date (pitted)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup yogurt

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients until fully combined. Add more or less water depending on how thick you’d like it. To make your smoothie even greener (AKA more powerful), try increasing the spinach or throwing in a fistful of cleansing parsley. Sip and Enjoy!
